How much does each session cost?
Our physical therapy and performance training services vary in price. For pricing details, please contact our office at (407) 871-3328.
Payment is required at or before the time of service. Our payment structure is based on one-on-one, 60-90 minute sessions with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. New Horizons Physical Therapy is considered out-of-network, but clients can submit for potential reimbursement through their insurance provider with a “superbill” that we can provide upon request.
There are no hidden costs, extra fees, or surprise bills following treatment.
Why don't you take insurance?
At New Horizons Physical Therapy, we believe that providing one-on-one, unrushed, high-level care that is patient-centered is the best way to optimize outcomes.
Typically, insurance dictates therapy treatment, with most in-network physical therapy clinics needing to see 3-4 patients an hour to be profitable. This means that most of your time is either spent with a tech or aide doing the same cookie-cutter exercises every week, or you're not getting the intentional time you need from your physical therapist because they are spread too thin. This also means needing to come to therapy 3-4 times a week in order to make any progress.
Being out-of-network allows us to provide you with a full hour of our undivided attention, typically 1-2 times a week. We are able to treat you in the way we believe is best to help you reach YOUR goals, without insurance dictating our every move and robbing you of the care you deserve.
With more dedicated time and individualized treatments, we love helping our clients take ownership of their care so they can save time and reach their goals in fewer visits. We don't practice cookie cutter physical therapy here. You won't regret the investment you make in New Horizons Physical Therapy and in yourself!
Do I need a referral to get started?
No! Florida is currently a limited direct-access state for physical therapy treatment. This means you can get started without a referral; however, after 30 days from the date of your initial evaluation, you will need to obtain a referral from one of the following providers: a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or chiropractor. Keep in mind that this rule only applies for conditions not previously assessed by one of the aforementioned providers. If you have questions about how to obtain a referral, we are happy to assist with this process!
Why choose New Horizons Physical Therapy?
We're not your typical physical therapy clinic. We believe that everyone, regardless of their fitness level, is an athlete. Whether your goal is to break a personal record, play golf without pain, or even climb a mountain, we believe everyone deserves to move and live their best life!
Our approach is progressive and performance-based. We focus on addressing the root cause of your issues, guiding you through recovery, enhancing your performance, and minimizing your risk of future injuries, allowing you to enjoy the activities you love for the long run.
So, what sets us apart?
At New Horizons Physical Therapy, you'll receive one-on-one attention from a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the full hour. You won't be handed off to a tech or aide. Each session will be tailored specifically to your needs, equipping you with the knowledge and interventions necessary to optimize your outcomes and achieve results faster. With more time devoted to your care during each visit, and without having to share your physical therapist with 2-3 other people, our average discharge time compared to other in-network clinics is almost half!
The most valuable thing you'll gain here is knowledge and skills to maintain a healthy, pain-free lifestyle. Our aim is to help you achieve your goals efficiently, so you won't have to rely on healthcare professionals in the long term.
We take your progress seriously. Our dedication to assisting athletes and active individuals runs deep at New Horizons Physical Therapy, and we're thankful for the chance to serve the Central Florida community!
